Who we are
Health Access Philly is a grassroots collaborative based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, working to protect access to health coverage and benefits. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Health Access Philly and the volunteers operating this site.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide, including:
- Newsletter signups: the email address you submit through the footer form.
- Contact form: your name, email, organization (if provided), and the contents of your message.
- Applications (participant, mentor, partner): name, email, phone, affiliation or organization, city and state, and free-text responses to application questions.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age. This site is not directed at children.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries you send us.
- To review, evaluate, and follow up on applications to the Sprint Challenge.
- To send you updates about events, opportunities, and resources when you have subscribed to our newsletter.
- To maintain and improve the operation of the site.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. We use Lovable Cloud as our hosting and database provider to store form submissions and operate this site. They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
- Collaborators. Application responses may be reviewed by our staff, mentors, and program partners for the purpose of running the Sprint Challenge.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our community.
Data retention
We keep submitted information for as long as needed to operate the program and communicate with you. You may ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details below.
Your choices
- Newsletter: you may unsubscribe at any time by contacting us; we will remove your email from our list.
- Access, correction, deletion: you may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. We will honor those rights as required by law.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses only the cookies and local storage required to operate basic functionality (for example, keeping a staff member signed in to the admin area). We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking pixels.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
